Description:

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. You will be crucial in the development of our new software product and enhancements to the existing product. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
  • Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure the project meets business objectives and compliance standards
  • Support test and deployment of new products and features
  • Participate in code reviews

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related post-secondary education)
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Expertise in Object Oriented Design, Database Design, REST APIs, JSON
  • Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
  • Familiarity with tools such as Gimp, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Experience with version control systems such as SVN, Git or TFS
  • Understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS or SASS
  • Some experience with Angular 2 or 4 and TypeScript

Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing intuitive front-end interfaces for our software product. Using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, this candidate will be able to translate complex user and business needs into functional and scalable software solutions.

Qualifications:

Description:

As the Business Development Representative (BDR) your primary goal will be to generate leads, develop an account portfolio and meet monthly and quarterly sales revenue quotas by selling Sherpa to small and medium-sized businesses. You will use your strategic social selling skills to educate prospective customers on the benefits and value of Sherpa. You will also serve as a trusted adviser, share insights and continually seek opportunities for growth to make our customers as strong and successful as possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Build a pipeline of prospects and manage the sales stages from initiate to close
  • Generate a list of prospective businesses through research, cold-calling, internet and professional network
  • Drive revenue by connecting with customers and building opportunities that will make all parties more successful
  • Work to develop and circulate a set of best practices that will be the foundation of this growing team
  • Listen to the needs of the market and share them with the Product and Marketing team
  • Educate prospects and clients about Sherpa software through presentations and product demonstrations
  • Clearly articulate Sherpa value proposition and return on investment (ROI)
  • Build a large user list as a reference in the assigned geographic territory
  • Collaborate and work as a team with the Chief Executive Officer & Chief Marketing Officer
  • Cultivate relationships with business partner counterparts (resellers) who sell and support complementary applications and services to SMBs in your territory
  • Plan, direct and coordinate sales support activities, including management of the sales pipeline through Sherpa sales tools
  • Ensure all targeted prospect/client contacts and engagement opportunities are recorded in the Sherpa sales tools
  • Involved in all phases of the sales lifecycle including identifying and developing leads; meeting with clients; developing value propositions; financial deal structuring; to contract negotiation and closing
  • Share industry, deal, and sales “best practice” knowledge with other members of the sales and product team
  • Understand the competitive landscape (strengths, weaknesses, benefits) and determine how to position Sherpa to succeed
  • Collaborate with Project Team to ensure that expectations set during the sales process are met through the customer journey
  • Provide ongoing feedback from SMB principles to Sales, Marketing, and Product teams as well as aid in identifying new market opportunities

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years in a quota carrying sales role
  • Strong communication, organizational and presentation skills with the ability to sell at all decision-making levels
  • Ability to manage complex sales and develop strategic plans
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • Experience canvassing and cold-calling into various types of businesses, with evidence of success
  • Managing prospects through our CRM application
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Self-motivated, creative, and flexible with the ability to perform well under pressure
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
